Privacy Policy — Roblox sign-in

Effective date: April 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FluxxNova collects and uses information when you use the optional Sign in with Roblox feature on FluxxNova Admin (the staff web application on the FluxxNova admin hostname). For general website practices outside this feature, see any privacy information published on fluxxnova.com.

This notice is designed to satisfy Roblox’s expectation that apps provide a clear description of collection and use (see the Creator Third Party App Terms) and align with the Creator Third Party App Policy.

Age and eligibility

Roblox requires a 13+ account to authorize OAuth 2.0 apps (see Roblox’s OAuth 2.0 overview). FluxxNova Admin’s Roblox sign-in is only for authorized staff who meet Roblox’s account requirements.

Consent

When you complete Roblox’s authorization screens for our app, you consent to FluxxNova collecting and using Roblox-sourced information as described in this policy for operating FluxxNova Admin.

What Roblox shares with us

When you authorize our OAuth application, Roblox may share identity-related data consistent with the permissions you grant (for example, OpenID Connect scopes such as openid and profile). Typical data includes your Roblox user identifier, username, display name, profile URL, and avatar image URL, as described in Roblox’s Open Cloud OAuth documentation. FluxxNova uses this data only as needed to authenticate you, display your account identity in the admin tool, and operate access controls and audit trails that your team configures.

We do not collect additional categories of personal data through this feature beyond what is described in this policy and what you authorize via Roblox’s consent screens.

How we use and retain information

  • Authentication: to verify that a sign-in attempt corresponds to a permitted Roblox account and to maintain your signed-in session on FluxxNova Admin.
  • Admin operations: to associate administrative actions with staff identities where logging or permissions require it.
  • Retention: session data is kept only as long as needed for security and operations, subject to FluxxNova’s backend configuration and legal obligations. Roblox access and refresh tokens, if stored, are handled with appropriate access controls and only for OAuth session management.

Requirements we follow for Roblox data

In addition to applicable privacy laws, we align our handling of Roblox-sourced data with Roblox’s published rules for third-party apps, including the Creator Third Party App Policy. In particular, we commit that we:

  • Do not sell data obtained through Roblox APIs.
  • Do not use Roblox user data to train artificial intelligence or language models.
  • Do not build “profiles” of Roblox users for cross-platform tracking, and we do not use third-party profiling products or services targeting Roblox users in ways Roblox prohibits.
  • Do not use geolocation for prolonged or active tracking of users (and this sign-in flow does not rely on geolocation).
  • Delete or expunge Roblox-sourced personal data when appropriate if we lose access to Roblox APIs or discontinue this integration, as required by Roblox policy.
  • Notify Roblox of any sale or transfer of ownership of our OAuth app or relevant platform, when required by Roblox policy.
  • Do not use Roblox APIs or this integration to evaluate or gain insight into Roblox’s business, revenue, or platform-wide operations beyond what is needed to operate FluxxNova Admin for our team (per Roblox’s third-party app terms).

Third parties

Roblox processes authentication and consent screens on Roblox’s systems; their privacy notices and terms apply there. Roblox is an independent controller for that experience.

Security

FluxxNova uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect administrative data and credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please report suspected incidents through the contact options on fluxxnova.com.

Regional rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of personal data. To exercise rights that apply to you, use the contact options on fluxxnova.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy when the Roblox integration or legal requirements change. We will adjust the effective date above when material updates are published at this URL.
